If you buy from these people you are supporting bots! For shame!

No basically this is legit trade, nothing in this procedure is illegally obtained, however if u buy gold for cash then u are supporting botting. As long as people buy gold online these guys will thrive. If u don't buy it they will stop being there, and only legit chest runners will remain to help other get their wisdom title.

These are not bots, just annoying kiddos
Basically if ANet wants to fight bots they should flag any transaction above 10 to 20 platinum (these always need the exchange of at least one item). Flagged accounts get messaged and if they dealt with an account that engages in these kind of activities frequently both account will get disabled (the consumer maybe temporarily, untill three strikes out). It can only mean one thing, they were trading gold.

So if I give a guildie 75k to funs a 15k armor I get a flag? One hell of a solution.
AndI usually do as many others do. I simply hit accept with 1g. If they accept as well, I'm happy. If not, they scurry off. Either way, I win.

Those aren't bots, just kids who are up past their bedtime.
Normally they'll whisper you and spam can they have it.
Yet another reason why I'm on DnD 98% of the time.

7 for 3k? Thats nice and worth it lol. I only see bots spamming for at least 5k, or more. I would buy all of their unided armors for my title...

LOL, I got into a group last week with one. He wasn't a bot, just an immature kid. Everytime a gold dropped for someone he spammed
"I wanna ID"
"I wanna ID"
"I wanna ID"
followed by a trade window request. It was more annoying than anything else because we were trying for Masters in Nahpui Quarter HM and he was slowing us down.

Did a trade in balthazar int last night and afterwards had a chinese guy open trade and offer un'ided platinum wands. Wasn't really interested or could be bothered to barter as I wanted to go to sleep. It didn't really occur to me that the mods might have been salvaged without id (didn't realise you even could!). Good to know.

Nah u should think further, I thought of this but didnt want to add it immeadiately. Couple of things to circumvent it, either allow this, but then gold sellers will use guilds as safe havens, so just flag them and send or just watch whether the people are long in the guild or not. I would never lend/give a new guildie a lot of cash, one who is longer in it yes. But hey these kind of flags work in real life as well, how much people are gonna lend a shitload of money to others? Not much. So u get flagged, and maybe contacted, you are not banned yet, and you could add a density of "lending" function so to analyze whether its casual or "professional" lending. Any transaction of high amount is just prone to research, nothing bad about that.

Lol, regulating what people trade by incorporating a flag system on trades to be considered illigitimate? And on top of this your shotty idea doesn't even get people banned?
useless/10
I lend money to friends not in my guild all the time, does that mean I will get banned? Oh let me guess, you are going to mention a magical hat that someone at Anet wears that will tell them somehow that "true friends" makes it an okay trade.
So useless.
